Scotland's West Coast- Keeping up with the kids this summer

Ranger Puffin Day - Wednesday 15th July

All year round tourists flock to the islands for a chance to see the puffins up close. If you’re touring with us on our three isle tour on the 15th of July you can get some expert knowledge on puffins when we stop off on the Isle of Staffa. The local wildlife ranger, who takes care of the puffin population throughout the year, will be on Staffa from 10am until 5pm to answer any questions you might have about the island’s puffin colony.

Mull Highland Games - Thursday 23rd July

If you go to just one Highland games this summer make it the Mull Highland Games. A Highland games is the ideal Scottish showcase, and what better way to experience one than in the picturesque surroundings of Mull. Like with games across the country, there’s a huge amount of entertainement packed into the Mull games. There are the ever-popular strong men events (the caber toss, hammer throw and the tug o’ war); the pipe bands and Highland dancers highlighting the best of traditional Scottish culture.

There are also a range of stalls with local produce and great food and drink to keep the family fed and watered throughout. There are lots of ways to get to Mull just for the games, and our Tobermory Topper and Discovery Day Pass start at as little as £10.
