City Sightseeing Glasgow

City Sightseeing Glasgow

The best way to see Glasgow

Our City Sightseeing Glasgow open-top bus tours offer visitors a brilliant way to discover the city and all its wonderful history and culture.

Choose between a knowledgeable live guide and our recorded commentary from historian Neil Oliver and sit back and enjoy the tour.

For children we have our Ghoulish Glasgow recorded commentary, available on multi-lingual non-live guide tours. Ghoulish Glasgow tells all about the ghostly, ghoulish and ghastly goings on in Glasgow’s past and is suitable for children aged 5+.

The tour takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes and has 21 stops along the route.  You can hop-on and hop-off at any of the stops to visit one of Glasgow's free museums or art galleries, have lunch, and do a bit of shopping or simply a walk in one of the city's many parks.

We operate all year round excluding 25th, 26th December and 1st January.  Frequency of tours varies throughout the year with one every 30 minutes during the winter months up to one every 10 minutes during the peak summer months.

City Sightseeing Glasgow

As Scotland’s largest city it is renowned for its culture, style and the friendliness of its people.  It offers everything from internationally-acclaimed museums and galleries (most of which are free) to stunning architecture, great shopping and a huge range of restaurants, bars and clubs which make up its vibrant nightlife.

For serious shopping visitors should combine the city centre and Merchant City, home to big luxury brands as well as high street chains and small, local boutiques.  For browsing, the west end is great with its eclectic range of small shops and galleries.

Museums and galleries are located throughout the city and the surrounding area as are the city’s many parks and gardens, all of which provide great spots to stroll, relax and enjoy your surroundings.

Accommodation within the city covers off everything from national 5* to budget brands as well as  small boutique hotels and B&Bs.
